Anger Management Techniques in Practice

Social workers apply anger management techniques in various settings, including clinical, school, and community settings. They use various therapeutic interventions, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy, hypnotherapy to help clients understand and modify the thought patterns that lead to anger.
We are helping to Identify the signs of anger and acknowledging it as a valid emotion.
We teach utilization of active listening, empathetic responses, and clear, non-confrontational communication to address and de-escalate anger. We teach assertive communication.
Social workers are teaching strategies such as deep breathing, mindfulness, and positive self-talk to manage anger effectively.
We are working collaboratively with clients to identify the underlying causes of anger and develop practical solutions.

This work is offered in a group workshops and/or  individual counselling. All our courses are accepted by the court system.
We are offering intensive anger management courses (1 day) and/or 1 hour, 12 weekly groups or individual sessions.
The services are offered in person or via zoom. 
Certificate of completion is provided.

They must use strategic approaches to overcome these barriers, such as building trust and rapport with clients, and collaborating with other professionals to provide comprehensive support.
